Another suc­cess­ful move com­pleted

BEN­NETT Res­i­den­tial who have been es­tab­lished in the area since 1988 have re­cently com­pleted their sec­ond of­fice move within the past 18 months. Some read­ers may re­mem­ber that Ben­nett Res­i­den­tial moved from their home for over 15 years at 18 High Street Uxbridge to large cor­ner of­fices at 61 High Street Uxbridge in March 2013, but due to un­ex­pected re­de­vel­op­ment works at The Pavil­ions shop­ping cen­tre they were forced, along with all of the other re­tail­ers at the north end of the cen­tre to va­cate that of­fice this sum­mer.

Philip Ben­nett, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor of Ben­nett Res­i­den­tial said: “When we first heard that we would have to move of­fice again so soon after mov­ing of­fice it was a daunt­ing prospect, but for­tu­nately a num­ber of al­ter­na­tive premises were avail­able to us at the time so we were in the po­si­tion of be­ing able to care­fully choose the right new of­fice that would best suit our needs, us­ing the same cri­te­ria as many of the buy­ers we deal with, bal­anc­ing lo­ca­tion with size and cost.

“When the of­fice at 10 High Street, Uxbridge be­came avail­able to us it was a very easy decision to make as it is in such a su­perb cen­tral lo­ca­tion, just a few doors down from the pub­lic li­brary, op­po­site the en­trance to the ‘Intu’ shop­ping cen­tre and café Nero, which we now all use reg­u­larly.

“The of­fices re­quired re­fur­bish­ing through­out so were in­te­rior de­signed and dec­o­rated in a homely and wel­com­ing lounge or ‘bou­tique’ style, which suits the fact that the of­fice is within a pe­riod Grade II listed build­ing’.”

He goes on to say: “With the new of­fice be­ing in the heart of the pedes­tri­anised town cen­tre this has al­ready re­sulted in im­proved ‘foot­fall’
