Man seriously hurt in collision
The Uxbridge Gazette Series A CYCLIST was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a road accident in Northwood Hills.
The man, believed to be in his fifties, suffered ‘life-changing’ head injuries as a result of the smash at the junction of Potter Street and Hillside Road on Wednesday last week.
London Ambulance Service and police were called at about 2.40pm. Paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
Police closed Potter Street and Hillside Road for a number of hours and the H13 bus route was diverted and delayed. The roads reopened just before 6pm.
Hillingdon Police is investigating. There are no further details of the man’s condition.
