Crash injures moped rider
HAREFIELD: A moped rider suffered serious leg injuries in a crash in Harefield.
The London Air Ambulance was called to the junction of Harvil Road and Moorhall Road on the southern edge of the village at 2pm on Tuesday, November 25 after reports of a collision involving a vehicle and the moped.
The rider, a man aged 21, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the smash but was taken to a central London hospital by road in the end.
Harvil Road was closed at the junction with New Year’s Green Lane to the south.
The driver of the other vehicle, a Mitsubishi pick-up truck, stopped at the scene and was not arrested. memory of Tom Ousby and Anne Walder.
Tom, formerly of Uxbridge and who had nystagmus, an eye condition, died in Spain in August last year after a fall from a hotel balcony.
Anne Walder was cared for by the LJMC in Northwood.
