Council unable to prioritise roads

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

IN VIEW of the letter on road re-surfacing in last week’s Gazette (‘ Resurfacing issues are surfacing again’, Letters, Wednesday, November 26), I thought that the subject of emails that have passed between myself and my local councillor might be of some interest to you.

I have questioned a number of times why minor side roads that are going nowhere, and even service roads, have been re-surfaced, while more important roads connecting town centres are not attended to as and when a problem develops.

All I got was the usual lame excuses, or ‘it’s in next year’s plan’
