LEADING LIGHTS: Family home sparkles for fundraiser
A STUNNING Christmas light show that helps raise cash for charity is back after a few years’ break.
Seth Vafiadis and his daughter, Sophia (pictured, left), have again decorated their home in Wood End Green Road, Hayes, with thousands of twinkling lights and glowing festive decorations.
Mr Vafiadis had always put on a tremendous light show when his wife, Androulla, was alive because she loved it so much. After she died of cancer in 2010, he continued the huge effort, with a philanthropic twist.
This year, he is supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Care, and you can donate £2 by texting ‘ANDV50’ to 70070 – or why not pop down, enjoy the lights, and make a donation in person?
