2 Dash about for Harefield Hospital
THE Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity is holding its second Santa Dash to help raise money for Harefield Hospital.
Last year, the event attracted more than 240 participants, who ran, walked and hoho-hoed their way around the 1.8km Ruislip Lido course, raising £5,000 for the hospital.
The entrance cost covers a Santa suit and medal for each participant.

3 Free train ride for grotto visitors
ALL aboard! Enjoy a ride behind a miniature steam or diesel train on a track approximately half a mile long at Roxbourne Railway.
The venue in Eastcote offers rides every year from April to October, but to celebrate Christmas, Santa will be offering free rides to all children who visit him in his grotto.
The Harrow and Wembley Society of Model Engineers, which runs the acility, is nviting amilies to njoy a day out ith the kids.

HAVE you ever passed a sculpture in Hillingdon and wondered about its history?
A guide to 14 works from around the borough, the vast majority of which can be publicly accessed, is being launched at Uxbridge Library today (Wednesday). The guide will be available at all libraries in the borough.
The launch has been organised by the Hillingdon Arts Association.
