Rush of new jobs as salon opens branch

Award-win­ning firm pleased with new lo­ca­tion

AN award-win­ning salon has opened a branch in North­wood, cre­at­ing 11 jobs.

Rush Hair snipped the rib­bon at the 87sqm premises, for­merly home to African restau­rant Mom­basa Hut, in Maxwell Road, on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 6.

Company co-founder Andy Phouli said: “North­wood is a great lo­ca­tion for Rush to be ex­pand­ing into. I’m sure that the North­wood com­mu­nity will wel­come us with wide arms.

“I know that the North­wood team were hugely ex­cited for the salon open­ing and can’t wait to wel­come the North­wood com­mu­nity into the salon and show them what Rush is all about. I wish the salon ev­ery suc­cess in the fu­ture.”

The

company

was es­tab­lished in 1994 and now runs 66 sa­lons across London and south-east Eng­land.

It has won 52 in­dus­try awards, in­clud­ing London Hair­dresser of the Year.
