TROUBLED retailer Tesco has at least got one part of Hillingdon thoroughly covered.

Its new Click & Collect service at Hillingdon Circus will operate on the opposite corner to its huge superstore development which was granted planning permission in August.

The retail giant has joined forces with Transport for London (TfL) to tempt commuters to order online and pick up their shopping in the car park of Hillingdon station, in Long Lane.

Items will be picked from the Tesco Yeading store and transported to the car park by van.

The service is not just for Tube commuters – TfL has also earmarked parking spaces exclusively for Tesco customers.

Following a successful launch at Rayners Lane, Tesco now has 10 collection points at London tube stations, including Hounslow West and Osterley.
