Dis­qual­i­fied mo­torist charged after crash

Man in court ac­cused of death by dan­ger­ous driv­ing

A DIS­QUAL­I­FIED driver has been charged after a car crash ended in the death of a mother.

Carl Mor­ris, 32, from Hayes, ap­peared in cus­tody at Hen­don Mag­is­trates’ Court on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 8, charged with caus­ing death by dan­ger­ous driv­ing, caus­ing death while driv­ing oth­er­wise than in ac­cor­dance with a li­cence, caus­ing death while driv­ing with no in­surance and caus­ing death while driv­ing while dis­qual­i­fied.

The col­li­sion hap­pened in Eastcote Lane, Har­row, on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 27. Faye Nor­ris, 31, was trav­el­ling as a pas­sen­ger in her Vaux­hall Corsa when it was in col­li­sion with other cars in the road.

She re­mained

in hos­pi­tal, but died of her in­juries on Satur­day, Jan­uary 3.

Touch­ing trib­utes were paid on Face­book and thou­sands of pounds has been raised through a crowd­fund­ing web­site set up to raise money for her young son Har­ley.

Fam­ily mem­ber Max­ine, who set up the page, wrote: “Faye, you were one of the bub­bli­est peo­ple to ever walk the earth.

“We all know how much you love Har­ley and would do any­thing for him and for that rea­son this page will con­tinue.

“We know that you would love for him, when he’s ready, to do some­thing spe­cial for him­self with this money raised.”

Mor­ris has been re­manded in cus­tody and will next ap­pear at Har­row Crown Court on Mon­day, Jan­uary 26.
