Sophie may not be a glamour puss but she deserves a lifetime of love

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

NOT every cat is a ‘poster puss’. Some are pretty mangy moggies, but they all need love. Every one deserves a safe and permanent home and, when you hear some of their heart-rending stories – as we do day in, day out – you will want to shower them with love and affection.

Take Sophie, for example. She came in with a trauma to her eye, and unfortunately we were unable to save it.

Sophie was brought to our clinic as a stray after being found in a very sad state.

She had an untreatable ulcer on the surface of her eye, probably caused by some sort of trauma.

The only way to give this little girl the chance of a future, was to carry out surgery to remove the eye, and following lots of special, recuperative care, lovely Sophie is now fully healed and really looking forward to finding a new home and a lifetime of love and attention.

After all she’s been through – and we do not know how old she is but she has been through a lot already – Sophie deserves a special second start in life. Can you help?

Maybell was found with no tail – but quite a tale!

This female tortoiseshell, aged one to two years old, was found in a warehouse and brought to us as a stray.

We have no idea how this beautiful girl lost her tail; someone has obviously cared for her at some stage but she was not microchipped and sadly no one has come
