Fam­ily trib­utes to dead biker

Mo­tor­cy­clist ‘will be sorely missed’

THE fam­ily of a mo­tor­cy­clist who died in a crash in­volv­ing two cars have paid trib­ute to their loved one.

Peter Ginn, 50, from West Dray­ton, died af­ter his sil­ver Suzuki mo­tor­cy­cle col­lided with a black Vaux­hall As­tra and a red Ford Fi­esta on the A4020 Ox­ford Road, in New Den­ham, Uxbridge.

He leaves his step­mother, his broth­ers and his sis­ters.

In a brief state­ment, his fam­ily said: “Pete worked for the Royal Mail at Ger­rards Cross for 10 years, where he was a very well-re­spected mem­ber of the of­fice, be­fore re­cently mov­ing to Greens Prin­ters of High Wy­combe.

“He will be sorely missed by his fam­ily and his many friends and col­leagues.”

The ac­ci­dent hap­pened out­side the KFC restau­rant at around 12.40pm on Jan­uary 20.

Paramedics fought to save Mr Ginn, but he was pro­nounced dead at the scene.

Po­lice later ar­rested the driver of the Vaux­hall As­tra, a 27-year-old man from West Dray­ton, on sus­pi­cion of caus­ing death by danger­ous driv­ing. He has now been bailed un­til March 7.


Of­fi­cers are ap­peal­ing for any­one who ei­ther wit­nessed the crash or saw any of the three ve­hi­cles be­fore­hand to come for­ward to help with an in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
