Have a look at the state of the estate

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

WHERE does council leader Ray Puddifoot live?

Quite obviously, not on the Allied Estate, in Hayes End, or the surrounding areas.

Perhaps if he were to remove his rose-coloured spectacles and come here, he will see rat-infested mattresses that have been dumped in the front gardens by residents who, quite simply, don’t care a damn.

The schedule for ‘street cleaning’ is simply laughable.

If we are lucky, we usually see a street cleaner on a Thursday.

On Friday come the dust carts. They take most of the refuse, but rubbish that is inappropriately bagged is left where it is placed by the residents, in front gardens that are in a disgusting state.

No. Mr Puddifoot, climb out of your ivory tower and come here and see for yourself. PETE WILLIAMS York Avenue
