2 Nursery wants to make big strides
NEWLY-OPENED Ministeps Nursery is inviting parents and tots to go along to an open day to see what it has to offer.
Parents will be able to see how the nursery (pictured below), in Joel Street, Northwood Hills, operates on a normal day, as well as being able to sample food from its regular menu.
Children will be kept entertained with a bouncy castle and could even get the chance to meet Peppa Pig.
The nursery opened on January 5 and so far has 11 children on its books. It looks after those aged between three months and five years old and is open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year around excluding bank holidays. What? Ministeps Nursery open day When? 3 Get on the mic if you’re feeling brave
A BI- MONTHLY open mic night has been formed for lovers of live music and literature.
The night is a collaboration between Hillingdon Council’s Arts and Library Services and is a chance to sample the best local musical and literary talents with a handpicked selection of performers or, if you are feeling brave, you can sign up on the night for a floor-spot to perform. Meet and network with other musicians, writers and eative people in an ormal and friendly mosphere.

Hotel company Novatel has flown to the rescue and is holding Novotel Super Heroes Days at 33 hotels across the UK, including one in Cherry Lane, West Drayton.
Let your little hero’s imagination soar with fun and educational activities for children aged between five and 11 this half-term.

THE intu Uxbridge shopping centre will be supporting National Storytelling Week with a string of exciting activities running until February 8. All week the centre
will be inviting children and adults to escape into a world of fantasy by helping themselves to a free book.
One adult bookcase will be placed in the lounge area and one children’s bookcase in the play area, where shoppers can take one book to enjoy at their leisure.
