Historic rape charges
HISTORIC charges of rape, buggery and indecent assault have been filed against a 48-year-old man from Uxbridge.
Billy Roy Day, of Cumbrian Way, will appear in custody at Southwark Crown Court on February 17 for a plea and case management hearing. He faces three charges relating to a rape alleged to have taken place near Hendon in 1984.
These are a single count of rape of a female aged over 16; one count of buggery with a woman; and one count of indecent assault on a female aged over 16. but were unable to enter and nothing was taken.
Police do not know exactly when the attempted break-ins occurred or if the attempted burglaries are linked.
