Please don’t close Toddlers World

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

PARENTS were very disappointed to see the proposed closure of the Toddlers World session held at the Hillingdon Sports and Leisure complex.

This excellent, large in-door play space complete with inflatable play equipment is aimed at pre-school children and is the only one of its size in Uxbridge.

Management say it is under-used and not cost-effective but each time I have taken my grandchildren there has been a good number of children thoroughly enjoying themselves. I believe if the complex promoted the session better even more children would attend.

Management also say that they have to allocate funds across the facility but children are losing their share.

We ask that this decision be reversed for the benefit of our children. HEATHER MATTHEWS
