SCHOOL pupils sold Mother’s Day gifts at a stall inside the Pavilions shopping centre in Uxbridge to raise money for charity.
The students, from Pield Heath House School, in Pield Heath Road, Uxbridge, sold cards, calendars, gift bags, purses and decorated china inside the High Street shopping centre on Tuesday, March 10.
They had made the items as part of their work with a student company called Gold Stars.
All of the money raised will be put back into the company, which donates any excess funds to a charity chosen by the students each year.
Deputy head teacher Natasha Johnson said: “We are very grateful to the Pavilions Shopping Centre for supporting this initiative, which has not only been most enjoyable but also a very valuable learning experience for all our students.”
The students will return to the shopping centre on April 24 to sell Easter gifts.
