Broads’ new role in BBC’s homes show
ROADS Property Services is delighted to have been selected to represent the industry as the area’s chosen property experts for the popular BBC television programme,
Chris Lenny, the company’s senior valuer has more than 25 years’ property experience, both in Middlesex and the South Buckinghamshire areas, and this combined with Broads renowned reputation, influenced the production team in its decision as to which estate agent to choose for the position.
Broads has already featured in recent episodes where local properties were bought at auction by a buyer pre- selected by the programme.
Once purchased the property is valued in its basic state by Broads with the buyer benefiting from advice on price and strategy from senior valuer Chris, who recommends the most cost-effective way to improve the property to maximise the best final selling price.
The refurbishment project is then followed over the ensuing months until it is completed.
At that point Broads are invited to reinspect the property and professionally comment on the improvement work carried out, recommending new selling and rental prices to the owner and of course to the programme’s well-known presenters.
Director Caroline Powell commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to be the chosen estate agent for this prestigious position.
“It’s another endorsement as to how far we have come in our 11 years of trading and adds another ‘tick’ to our box to help us continue our longestablished leading position within the local housing market.”
