HISTORY IS BROUGHT TO LIFE
HISTORY came to life at a school in Ruislip this week when children dressed up in costumes from past periods.
Youngsters from Lady Bankes Junior School in Dawlish Drive have been learning about different historical eras and got into costume on March 24. Year Three pupils wore Greek and Egyptian clothing, Year Four dressed as Romans and Saxons, Year Five donned Tudor and Aztecs costumes, and Year Six came in as Victorians.
The school does it each year and headteacher George Knox said: “Children and staff always enjoy doing this.
“The children have great fun dressing up in period costumes and bringing history to life.”
