Home needed for a handsome gent
SPCA Hillingdon, Slough, Windsor, Kingston, District Branch is sad to report that there are two confirmed cases of parvo virus in the Hillingdon area in our dog population.
We cannot express enough how important it is to keep your dog’s inoculations up to date, with yearly boosters.
If finance is a genuine problem speak to your veterinary surgeon or the RSPCA for advice.
On another sad note, dog stealing is absolutely rife. Make sure your dog is micro chipped, again the RSPCA can help. Never leave your dog in a car or tied up outside a shop etc if you are offered a dog for sale and you are suspicious inform the police.
Many hearts are broken by dog stealing – be one step ahead.
Mao is a seven-year-old ginger and white male cat.
Sadly for Mao, when his previous owner was due to have a baby he found himself being put up for rehoming and lost the home he’d known for so long.
He is a lovely and very handsome gentleman who is hoping that a special caring person will come along to offer him a loving home that really will be forever this time.
He would prefer to be the only cat in the household.
Please get in touch if you can offer Mao a future to look forward to.
Sadly with increasing numbers of adult cats and kittens coming into the centre, we are in need of donations of wet cat food and scratching posts, if you could spare anything this Easter it would make a big difference.
We are appealing to the local ‘horsey’ community for second hand and new equine equipment to sell and raise funds for emergency care for horses and donkeys in need.
We will accept any goods including: stable, turnout and exercise rugs, tack and exercise equipment, boots and bandages, grooming equipment, travel gear, adult and child rider and stable wear and stable equipment.
Unfortunately we cannot accept second hand riding hats or back protectors for obvious safety reasons.
