Fairytale role for dedicated dancer

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

A HILLINGDON ballet dancer is preparing for her West End debut in the new adaptation of Snow White.

Micaela Infante, 14, is rehearsing every Sunday along with 55 other young dancers, selected from more than 500 children who auditioned.

The keen dancer, who is now at Tring Park, a performing arts school where she learns both ballet and musical theatre, won the role of the Queen’s evil accomplice.

Snow White is staged by London Children’s Ballet (LCB), which stages a West End production each year performed by talented dancers aged 9-16.

Jenna Lee, a choreographer for LCB, said: “Micaela has been wonderful to work with.

“She is an articulate, versatile dancer but also has a great understanding of telling a story through a character role. She has really developed throughout this rehearsal process.”

Snow White will be performed at the Sadler’s Wells Peacock Theatre from April 23 to 26.
