S BRENNAN, C Fitzgerald and P Rance helped Harlington Bowls Club continue their wonderful start to 2015 with a 62-48 away victory against Cowley.

They emphatically won the club’s match-defining third rink 33-10 to set up a comfortable triumph in the Chiltern & Thames League.

It was a bad few days for Cowley as Mill BC also earned an emphatic 75-46 victory over the battle-weary side.

Victory was secured thanks in no short part to AA Middleton, D Garside and K Worboys, who opened the first rink with a 10 point margin of victory.

A Peskett, J Howe and C Lyons also recorded a 10-point victory in the third rink, before J Peskett, M Hulbert, R Burch in the second rink and C Mason, J Morton, R Brodie in the fourth, completed a sweeping victory for Mill – winning in all four rinks.

Harlingon then travelled to Fassnidge Bowls Club for a Chiltern & Thames League match on Saturday, but were beaten 57-31.
