Man admits to attacking couple in their home
A HAREFIELD man who attacked a man and a woman in a home has admitted actual bodily harm at court.
Thomas Jordan, 27, of Bankside Close, kicked the victims’ front door open in Morse Close, Harefield, at 1.30am on November 9 last year, Uxbridge Magistrates Court was told on June 2.
In forcing his way in he injured the male victim, who was standing behind the door. Jordan then went to the kitchen where he took a knife from a drawer and held it to the man’s throat.
He shouted at the man and the woman, who were known to him, before hitting the man over the head and punching the woman several times.
Jordan then left the house and police were immediately called.
He was arrested later that day in connection with the incident and charged with wounding. The male victim was treated for head and foot injuries at the Royal Free Hospital and has since made a good recovery.
The woman did not need hospital treatment after the attack.
DC Mark Henry said: “The prosecution case against Jordan has been so strong and overwhelming that he was given no other option then to plead guilty to the attack. There is no place in Hillingdon for violent offenders like Jordan. Every victim receives the highest level of support, respect and understanding and we urge anyone who has been effected by any type of abuse to contact us immediately.”
Jordan was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on June 30 at Uxbridge Magistrates Court.
