Thank you for flying the Middlesex flag
IS IT sea-faring Thunderbird 4, or judging by the colours Thunderbird 3?
Neither. This photo by Toby Van de Velde is in fact an old surplus lifeboat, now in use as a home on The Grand Union I AM one of those who greatly appreciated the article and also very much appreciated the Hillingdon Council for flying the county flag – it warmed the heart – all part of our heritage – well done!

investigation to try and alleviate my problem, hence my long stay, and keeping me informed.
The nursing care was beyond all my expectation, with most nurses being kind, patient, hard working and so professional, which filled one with confidence and being in safe hands. How they manage to keep so cheerful and full of energy at the end of a 12 hour shift is beyond me.
They have to cope every day with different procedures for each individual when doctors do their rounds, ordering new medication etc and managing with nurses available.
All the sisters on the wards work as part of a team, one made my bed on her own because her nurses were busy elsewhere, as well as dealing with the endless paperwork and responsibilities.
Everyone should be made aware of the incredible job they all do 24/7.
They have the big thumbs up from me, along with a huge THANK YOU. The food is also much improved and served hot most days.
