Heathrow sup­port is very se­lec­tive

ONCE again last week’s Gazette was a fo­rum for Rob Gray and the third run­way at Heathrow.

His let­ters con­tain very se­lec­tive statis­tics, there is never any men­tion of the ni­tro­gen diox­ide lev­els on the A4 near Heathrow which ex­ceed EU max­i­mums by sev­eral or­ders, even be­fore the third run­way is built.

Hav­ing re­ceived many of his biased ques­tion­aires through my let­ter­box I have zero con­fi­dence in the va­lid­ity of his fig­ures. He never quotes fig­ures for Har­mondsworth or Sip­son which I would guess at 0%.

Judg­ing by the ef­forts Heathrow and Gatwick are mak­ing to get the ex­tra run­way there must be con­sid­er­able fi­nain­cial gain for
