Visit marks re­lease of film

SHOP­PERS had a men­ac­ing en­counter with a life sized T-Rex at intu Uxbridge on Sun­day.

The re­al­is­tic-look­ing di­nosaur was let loose in the shop­ping cen­tre to celebrate the re­lease of the latest Juras­sic Park movie Juras­sic World at the week­end.

Young­sters posed for photos with the crea­ture and were of­fered the chance to take part in di­nosaur theme arts and crafts ac­tiv­i­ties.

intu Uxbridge is show­ing the film at its IMAX screen, with tick­ets on sale for £6 at ww w. o d e o n . c o . u k / Uxbridge.

Mar­ket­ing man­ager Craig Higgins said: “Our gi­ant T-rex def­i­nitely gave visi­tors a fright. The new movie is def­i­nitely a must-see for any film fan, es­pe­cially on our fan­tas­tic IMAX screen here at intu Uxbridge.”

This week­end the shop­ping cen­tre is mark­ing Fa­ther’s Day with a Gi­ant Dig­i­tal Scalex­tric com­pe­ti­tion for dads.

It is also invit­ing peo­ple to post photos of them­selves and their dads on the intu Uxbridge Face­book page by Fri­day, with the best one be­ing picked to re­ceive a £100 gift card.
