Taras’ film nominated for several awards

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

A LOCAL filmmaker has been nominated for several awards for his new feature film, The Profesional.

With a low budget said to be ‘no more than the price of a week’s shopping’, the flick follows hitman Eli Shepard as he takes part in a kill contract.

The camera delves into Eli’s callous and brutal world filled with dangerous psychopaths and surreal relationships.

The title is purposely misspelled in connection to its themes of mistakes and the flaws that define us.

The brainchild of the film, 26-year-old Taras Groves, shot the entire film in the local area including Eastcote, Ruislip and Harrow.

The film is currently up for several film festival awards, most notably recently nominated for ‘best ensemble’ at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards.
