Mayor bounces to the aid of KIDS cam­paign

BORIS John­son proved that even if you have to man­age one of the largest cities in the world, there is still time to act like a big kid.

The Lon­don mayor gamely tried out a space hopper on Tues­day, June 23 as he helped to launch the KIDS cam­paign, which aims to raise vi­tal funds for dis­abled chil­dren and young peo­ple.

Mr John­son, also the Uxbridge & South Ruis­lip MP, is pro­mot­ing the Big Space­hop Chal­lenge to raise funds.

He said: “I’m pleased to be sup­port­ing this ex­cit­ing cam­paign on be­half of KIDS. They pro­vide care and sup­port to thou­sands of dis­abled chil­dren and young peo­ple and are a life­line to fam­i­lies across the coun­try, in­clud­ing more than 3,000 in our cap­i­tal city.

“I’m urg­ing ev­ery­one to get be­hind this cam­paign and get KIDS.”

The Big Space­hop Chal­lenge race takes place in Lon­don this Septem­ber and any­one can register to take part in the fundraiser at
