Travelling by bus unbearable in heat

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION - MRS EARL 47 Hamilton Crescent Harrow HA2 9JE ROZ ROSENBLATT London Manager, Diabetes UK

ON Friday June 26, I travelled the full journey of the 90 bus route, it was exceptionally hot and the fact the heating was on made it almost unbearable.

By the same token, in the winter there will be no heating on.

Not long ago, the Government donated £6million for a prison to be built in Somalia, couldn’t that money have been donated to TFL so we can have air conditioning on Public Transport?

It is only a matter of time before there will be a fatality on a bus, as a result of heat exhaustion. support around the care their child is entitled to receive at school.

The helpline, supported by our National Charity Partnership with Tesco, is staffed by volunteers who give information about children’s rights and can provide emotional support at what can be a stressful time for parents.
