Pop singer to play Jack at The Beck

SINGER Lee Ryan, best known as be­ing part of the boy band Blue, has landed the lead role in a Hayes pan­tomime (oh yes he has!).

The pop star will make his panto de­but as Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk at The Beck Theatre, Hayes, from De­cem­ber 11 to Jan­uary 2.

Ex­ec­u­tive pro­ducer Daryl Back, said: “We are thrilled that Lee will be star­ring as our hero Jack this Christ­mas and that au­di­ences will get to hear his phe­nom­e­nal voice. It prom­ises to be a gi­ant of a show, full of laughs, mu­sic and magic that can’t be missed.”

Blue, who have been ac­tive since 2001, have sold more than 14 mil­lion records and have re­leased their sixth al­bum Colours this year.

The band, which also in­cludes Si­mon Webbe, Antony Costa and Dun­can James, is tour­ing the UK on their Colour of Blue tour later in 2015.
