Hillingdon youngsters take Rotary title
HILLINGDON U10s finished as champions at the 16th annual Rotary Club of Uxbridge ‘Eborn Pratt’ five-a-side football tournament at Rockingham Recreation ground.
The U10s defeated Breakspear School 2-0 in the final of the tournament to lift the trophy thanks to strikes from Brandon Charles and Harrison Dudziak.
The rest of the team included Luca Lombardi, Sammi Lewis, Harley Tanner and Samuel Manufor as Hillingdon started the summer in style. Meanwhile, in the U12s age group, Sandgate emerged victorious after defeating Sandgate Colts 6-1 in the final, thanks to a hat-trick from Shokrola Amiri. His treble came alongside strikes from Daniel Boswell, Avishek Luchmum and Cameron Brookfield.
Jorge O’Connell made up the side, who managed to wrap up tournament victory without a natural goalkeeper in the side.
The Eborn Pratt tournament is a community tournament with free entry for all teams of boys and/or girls, and was hosted in association with Waterloo Road Church.
