Man avoids prison over break-in

A HARE­FIELD man who car­ried out an as­sault af­ter forc­ing his way into a house has been sen­tenced.

Thomas Jor­dan, 27, of Bank­side Close, ad­mit­ted break­ing into a prop­erty, in Morse Close, on Novem­ber 9, 2014, and as­sault­ing a man in­side.

The vic­tim suf­fered head and foot in­juries and Jor­dan was charged the fol­low­ing day.

He pleaded guilty to as­sault caus­ing ac­tual bod­ily harm (ABH) at Isle­worth Crown Court on June 2.

Jor­dan was sen­tenced at the same court on July 14 to an 11-month sus­pended sen­tence and 12-month re­strain­ing or­der. He was also or­dered to pay a £100 vic­tim sur­charge.
