No need for bon­fire

IT’S sum­mer. You can throw open the win­dows, hang the wash­ing out and sit in the gar­den soak­ing up the sun.

Ex­cept that some idiot de­cides he needs to burn some­thing nox­ious on a bon­fire or light a bar­be­cue.

Your house fills with the smell of smoke. Your wash­ing is ru­ined, and you are driven from the gar­den and forced to swel­ter with the win­dows closed. So why is this fool al­lowed to get away with ru­in­ing ev­ery­one else’s day?

He’s not! Yes you can light a bon­fire but only un­der strict con­di­tions which in­cludes not in­con­ve­nienc­ing your neigh­bours.
