Derelict site back for good with new jobs
A DERELICT site in Hayes will be re-developed to bring new jobs to the area.
Prologis’s scheme in Dawley Road is promising six buildings ranging in size from 2,870 square feet to 52,540 square feet.
The development builds on the success of Prologis Park Heathrow, in Stockley Road, Hayes.
Paul Weston, senior vice president at Prologis UK, said: “Prologis Dawley Road is a well-located site in an established industrial area and is already attracting interest from expanding local companies as well as from national and international organisations.”
Adelie Foods and Gate Gourmet, which already occupies a 69,000 sq ft building on the park has moved there.
Mr Weston added: “The site has been derelict for around 10 years, so we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring it back into use.”
The company has also submitted a planning application to create a further two units in Hayes, at Prologis Park West London (formerly Stockley Park Phase 3).
