Firm steps in to help church cen­tre

A HAYES elec­tri­cal busi­ness lent a help­ing hand to a Chris­tian Cen­tre in need.

The Bell Farm Chris­tian Cen­tre in West Dray­ton ur­gently re­quired help to in­stall CCTV af­ter a num­ber of se­cu­rity in­ci­dents and vol­un­teers were not able to get the work done in time.

Af­ter staff at the cen­tre got in touch, Free­man­tle Me­chan­i­cal & Build­ing So­lu­tions, based in Hayes, of­fered to help and sent their engi­neers to the cen­tre’s aid.

Free­man­tle car­ried out works on Bell Farm Chris­tian Cen­tre’s CCTV sys­tem and emer­gency light­ing bring­ing their old an­ti­quated equip­ment up to the latest stan­dards and tech­nol­ogy.

Richard Free­man­tle, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor at Free­man­tle, said: “We wanted to give some­thing back to our lo­cal com­mu­nity and as a lo­cal em­ployer in the Heathrow area we take our re­spon­si­bil­i­ties se­ri­ously.

“I be­lieve we can make a real dif­fer­ence to our neigh­bours and the sur­round­ing area by volunteering the ser­vices of Free­man­tle staff and mak­ing valu­able use of our labour re­source.

“I be­lieve here at Free­man­tle we can sup­port good causes and make a tan­gi­ble dif­fer­ence to our neigh­bour­hood and lo­cal com­mu­nity.”

Free­man­tle also said a big thank you to Se­cu­rity Sup­plies Ltd for sup­ply­ing sundry ma­te­ri­als free of charge and to HSS (Heathrow) for the free hire of lad­der equip­ment.

Bell Farm Chris­tian Cen­tre helps more than 3,000 peo­ple in the lo­cal area by of­fer­ing an ad­vice, in­for­ma­tion and care cen­tre.

Tony Pilk­ing­ton, who works at the cen­tre, was very thank­ful for the help.

He said: “The engi­neers have done some great work – all is in­stalled very neatly and the im­ages are great.

“In ad­di­tion, the team were a de­light to have on the site. They were al­ways so help­ful and al­ways so happy.”

Free­man­tle are keen to of­fer more sup­port to their lo­cal com­mu­nity.
