Keen to make a difference in their neighbourhood
Firm steps in to help church centre
A HAYES electrical business lent a helping hand to a Christian Centre in need.
The Bell Farm Christian Centre in West Drayton urgently required help to install CCTV after a number of security incidents and volunteers were not able to get the work done in time.
After staff at the centre got in touch, Freemantle Mechanical & Building Solutions, based in Hayes, offered to help and sent their engineers to the centre’s aid.
Freemantle carried out works on Bell Farm Christian Centre’s CCTV system and emergency lighting bringing their old antiquated equipment up to the latest standards and technology.
Richard Freemantle, Managing Director at Freemantle, said: “We wanted to give something back to our local community and as a local employer in the Heathrow area we take our responsibilities seriously.
“I believe we can make a real difference to our neighbours and the surrounding area by volunteering the services of Freemantle staff and making valuable use of our labour resource.
“I believe here at Freemantle we can support good causes and make a tangible difference to our neighbourhood and local community.”
Freemantle also said a big thank you to Security Supplies Ltd for supplying sundry materials free of charge and to HSS (Heathrow) for the free hire of ladder equipment.
Bell Farm Christian Centre helps more than 3,000 people in the local area by offering an advice, information and care centre.
Tony Pilkington, who works at the centre, was very thankful for the help.
He said: “The engineers have done some great work – all is installed very neatly and the images are great.
“In addition, the team were a delight to have on the site. They were always so helpful and always so happy.”
Freemantle are keen to offer more support to their local community.
