ME sufferer sets up a slimming venture
AN EASTCOTE slimmer who shed pounds will now become a consultant to help others with their weight loss goals.
Sarah Paterson gained the confidence to relaunch her own group after losing 1st 13lbs with a local Slimming World.
She dropped from a dress size 14 to a size 8-10 and is “excited” to help others with their diet plans.
Sarah initially put on weight in 2004 while being ill with M.E (Myalgic Encephalopathy) with the lack of energy to move around, she took to comfort eating to make her feel better.
Once she was feeling better, her mother had suggested they both joined Slimming World as her mother had been before and lost weight successfully.
Sarah is a vegetarian and felt she could still have a varied diet, from chips, crustless quiche, vegetarian lasagne, fruit, yogurt, rice, salad, stuffed peppers, plus daily treats such as chocolate or crisps.
She said: “I am so passionate about being able to help people lose weight and never going hungry. I know how hard it is to walk into a slimming group, so I want to let people know they will be welcomed into a friendly, loving, caring and non judgemental group from the moment they walk through the door.
“I have tried other diets in between after going on inclusion holidays but always end up back at Slimming World after trying other diets because it works long term with never going hungry.”
Sarah will be relaunching the Eastcote British Legion group on Wednesday at 10am on 2 September 2015. To find out more information contact Sarah on 07721025502 or visit w w w. s l i m m i n g w o r l d . com.
