EVERYTHING is awesome at a Hillingdon Baptist Church for children who were entertained with a week of Lego-themed fun.

Hillingdon Park Baptist Church Holiday Club 2015 provided a week of excitement and enthusiasm for children aged 5-11 years.

From Monday 24 to Friday 28 August, 48 children came to join in with the various activities on offer.

More than 30 adults gave up their time to help the children be creative and learn about constructing a faith in Jesus Christ through a Lego theme.

Children enjoyed visits from Lego characters, crafts, singing and games.

The Lego theme was inspired by the instruction illustrations that come in each box.

The idea was to apply the illustration to the way God has given instructions in the Bible on the way life should be lived.

Matt Craig, the Church’s Youth and Children’s Worker, organised the week’s events.

He said: “This is an opportunity for children to engage with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a fun, enthusiastic and invigorating way through creative crafts, fun games, singing and storytelling.”
