Ice cream van on fire

HAYES: It was a case of fire and ice after an ice cream van set ablaze on Friday.

Firefighters were called to Avondale Drive, near the A312 Parkway, at 5.25pm after concerned motorists stopped the vehicle on fire.

It is not known whether the ice cream van was trading at the time, but no one was hurt.
