More room on the number 90

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

THE number 90 bus service which passes through Yeading, Hayes and Harlington Corner is to be expanded.

Transport for London (TfL) has decided to run only double decker buses on the route, rather than the mix of single and double decks currently in operation, to meet increased passenger demand.

The double deck buses will be able to carry 87 people, whereas the single deck buses carried a maximum of 55 passengers.

John Barry, TfL’s Head of Network Development for Buses, said: “This service improvement means bigger buses and therefore more capacity on the route, and we are also increasing frequency on Sundays and in the evenings.”
