TV li­cence free for over 75s

I AM writ­ing to re­mind read­ers that any­one aged 75 or over is en­ti­tled to a free TV Li­cence for their main ad­dress.

Al­most 3.9 mil­lion peo­ple across the UK are al­ready en­joy­ing ben­e­fits of the con­ces­sion so we urge those who have not yet done so, to ap­ply.

Those aged 75 and over can ap­ply online at www.tvli­cens­ing.co.uk/ over75 or by call­ing 0300 790 6073. Al­ter­na­tively, they can write to TV Li­cens­ing, Dar­ling­ton, DL98 1TL, giv­ing their name, ad­dress, date of birth and Na­tional In­sur­ance num­ber.

The free li­cence will cover all equip­ment in the prop­erty, mean­ing fam­ily or car­ers liv­ing in the same home can also ben­e­fit.
