Motorcyclist killed after car collision
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Hayes on Sunday evening (September 27).
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Police Command were called to Lansbury Drive at 6.28pm following reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found two men from the motorcycle suffering from critical injuries.
The first, believed to be aged 24, died at the scene a short while later.
The second was taken by paramedics to a west London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Roads in the area were closed while police launched an investigation.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course. Next-of-kin have been informed but formal identification has yet to take place.
