Hanna has the write stuff
HAYES: A schoolgirl has been named a runner up in the National Young Writers’ Award.
Hanna Adimi, 12, from the Rosedale College, Hayes, fought off tough competition from children all over the region with her story, The Forest Killing.
The competition, organised by Explore Learning, which has a centre in Hayes, is now in its seventh year.
It was judged by bestselling author Jonathan Meres who sifted through entries from 15,000 children on the theme of Strange Events & Peculiar Happenings.
