Cup progress with 10 out of 10 per­for­mance

IT WAS a per­fect 10 for Den­ham United U15s against the GPR Sap­phires as they pro­gressed into the sec­ond round of the Sur­rey League Cup.

Kayleigh Cur­rivan, Mad­die Vil­day and Jes­sica Stick­ley’s dou­ble fired them into an early 4-0 lead in­side the open­ing 20 min­utes.

Yas­min Gar­cia com­pleted the first half with the first of her goals to give the girls a com­fort­able 5-0 lead at the break.

Gra­cie Perkis was pushed fur­ther for­ward af­ter the restart and was soon on the score­sheet, with Gar­cia dou­bling her per­sonal tally and Stick­ley grab­bing her hat-trick

Char­lotte Par­rett and Katie Ak­er­man rounded off the scor­ing in the 10-0 tri­umph to set up a date with AFC Wim­ble­don.

Den­ham’s U12s were nar­rowly de­feated by Cam­den Youth on Satur­day de­spite a strong show­ing from United’s player of the match Ni­amh Wil­liams.

The se­nior Den­ham United Ladies were beaten 2-0 by Nor­wich, but there was an ex­cit­ing 5-4 win for the re­serves against Clapham Kicks cour­tesy of a Clarice Gould hat­trick and one each from Alana Maria Lazarus and Me­gan Payne.

Else­where, Do­minic Gon­calves, Gabriel Dick­son and Harry Macfadyen were among the scor­ers in a 7-5 de­feat for West Dray­ton Ex­plor­ers U7s Reds. The U7s Blues lost out 9-6 in a friendly with Golden Ea­gles.

Ex­plor­ers U8s Blues put 18 past FC Holy­port. Lewis Tol­son and Levi Rogers banged in hat-tricks, while Ma­son Spring hit a dou­ble and Jack Tay­lor also got one.

West Dray­ton’s U8s Reds could not get the re­sult they wanted in their first game as they went down 10-2 to Hilling­don Ab­bots.

The U9s Reds beat BJ Blues 5-3 thanks to Joe Ros­siter, Tris­tan Vil­lacru­sis, Euan Hlubanyana and Ethan Cupido’s brace. Harry Todd put in a great per­for­mance, earn­ing the man of the match award

Nico Mar­tucci and Rocky Roka helped the U9s Pur­ples beat BJ Yel­lows 3-1.

Reece But­ler hit four as the U10s put nine past Hare­field United, while Hay­den O’Toole (two), Ran­vier Ja­m­agotre (two) and Steely But­ton added to the score­line.

Ex­plor­ers U11s Reds scored a whop­ping 11 goals this week with nine com­ing from Ray Bel­fon.

Jor­dan Kan­danga and Sammy Spasov com­pleted the scor­ing.

A brace from Mo Bah and strikes from Fin­ley Wil­son and Ge­orge Row­lands se­cured a 4-1 win for the U11s Blues in a friendly with Han­well.

Char­lie Rogers and Tay­lor McGaw fired the U15s to a 7-0 win over Burn­ham.
