IT WAS a perfect 10 for Denham United U15s against the GPR Sapphires as they progressed into the second round of the Surrey League Cup.
Kayleigh Currivan, Maddie Vilday and Jessica Stickley’s double fired them into an early 4-0 lead inside the opening 20 minutes.
Yasmin Garcia completed the first half with the first of her goals to give the girls a comfortable 5-0 lead at the break.
Gracie Perkis was pushed further forward after the restart and was soon on the scoresheet, with Garcia doubling her personal tally and Stickley grabbing her hat-trick
Charlotte Parrett and Katie Akerman rounded off the scoring in the 10-0 triumph to set up a date with AFC Wimbledon.
Denham’s U12s were narrowly defeated by Camden Youth on Saturday despite a strong showing from United’s player of the match Niamh Williams.
The senior Denham United Ladies were beaten 2-0 by Norwich, but there was an exciting 5-4 win for the reserves against Clapham Kicks courtesy of a Clarice Gould hattrick and one each from Alana Maria Lazarus and Megan Payne.
Elsewhere, Dominic Goncalves, Gabriel Dickson and Harry Macfadyen were among the scorers in a 7-5 defeat for West Drayton Explorers U7s Reds. The U7s Blues lost out 9-6 in a friendly with Golden Eagles.
Explorers U8s Blues put 18 past FC Holyport. Lewis Tolson and Levi Rogers banged in hat-tricks, while Mason Spring hit a double and Jack Taylor also got one.
West Drayton’s U8s Reds could not get the result they wanted in their first game as they went down 10-2 to Hillingdon Abbots.
The U9s Reds beat BJ Blues 5-3 thanks to Joe Rossiter, Tristan Villacrusis, Euan Hlubanyana and Ethan Cupido’s brace. Harry Todd put in a great performance, earning the man of the match award
Nico Martucci and Rocky Roka helped the U9s Purples beat BJ Yellows 3-1.
Reece Butler hit four as the U10s put nine past Harefield United, while Hayden O’Toole (two), Ranvier Jamagotre (two) and Steely Button added to the scoreline.
Explorers U11s Reds scored a whopping 11 goals this week with nine coming from Ray Belfon.
Jordan Kandanga and Sammy Spasov completed the scoring.
A brace from Mo Bah and strikes from Finley Wilson and George Rowlands secured a 4-1 win for the U11s Blues in a friendly with Hanwell.
Charlie Rogers and Taylor McGaw fired the U15s to a 7-0 win over Burnham.
