Light up hospice lives at Christmas

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

STAR dedications can be made for loved ones this Christmas with Michael Sobell Hospice.

Over the festive period, the hospice’s Light up a Life website gives family and friends the opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one. The dedicated stars will shine in the virtual sky until the end of the year.

If a star is donated, a patron is asked to make a small donation of £5 or more to the hospice. The donation will help Michael Sobell Hospice patients who need care and support.

The stars will show a photo of a friend or loved one and a personal message. Existing dedicated stars can be searched for online and clusters of stars can be made in memory of one person.

Michael Sobell Hospice relies on charitable donations to provide support for patients, families and carers, and necessary palliative care.

To maintain its current level of care, the charity needs to raise £1.6million.
