Denham U15s hit opponents for 17
DENHAM Ladies U15s went goal crazy at the weekend, hammering Beecholme Belles 17-1 in the Surrey League Cup.
Katie Akerman and Kayleigh Currivan led the rout with four goals each, but it was a player who did not make the scoresheet, Katie Riddington, who was made player of the match for her outstanding work rate.
Jessica Stickley (3), Annie Walsh (3), Charlotte Parrett, Julia Thurauf Gina Lee and a goal for Alketa Rragami completed the scoring.
The U14s played two weekend friendlies – winning 2-0 at Broomfield Academy, with goals from Courtney Woolley and Alisha Bajwa (player of the match was Lillie Martin) and seeing off Mole Valley 7-1, thanks to braces from Bajwa and Shania Foley, and further goals from Holly Symons, Mia Stephenson and Niamh Reynolds.
A Grace Nwoseh strike was not enough for the U13s as they lost 3-1 to Bury Rangers (player of the match was Lauren Clarke), and the U12s went down 4-2 to Parkfield, despite goals from Abbie Barrett and Tara Jhawer.
In the senior section, the first team warmed up for their Women’s FA Cup clash against Crystal Palace this coming Sunday by coming from a goal behind to beat Lowestoft 3-1.
A 25-yard screamer from Katie Phillipson levelled matters before Natalie Murray put them in front, and Vicky Birkby secured the win with her first touch.
Elishia Allen and Charlie Leigh Dixon hit a hat-trick apiece, with Zoe Cox also on the mark, as the reserves knocked London Phoenix out of the John Greenacre Memorial Trophy 7-0, while Amy Martins was also a hat-trick hero in the senior development squad’s 4-0 friendly win over Brook House, in which Louise Butler was on target too.
Five-star Gabriel Dickson fired West Drayton Explorers U7s Reds to a 9-6 win over Delaford Colts, with Cairo Jones, Rounak Bagale , Oderio Brand and Harry Macfayden also netting and Sean Sheehan impressing.
The U8s Reds beat Windsor Youth 3-2, Lenny Anene, Iggy Mieslicki and Marcos Valero scoring, while the U8s Blues won 10-4 against SFK Eagles. Remi Kowalczyk, Stanley Geraghty (6), Puneet Sahota, Mason Spring and Jack Taylor scored.
Explorers’ U9s Reds lost 6-3 to Chalfont Saints despite a double from Charlie Penil and a Tristan Villacrusis strike. Alberto Rodriguez-Owens got two as the U9s Blues lost 5-2 to Taplow. Samuel Tekele was impressive for the U9s Purples as they lost 3-0 to Boyne Hill Boys 3-0.
West Drayton’s U10s had a great cup win against Burnham Juniors by beating them 3-0. Goalscorers were Hayden O’Toole and Jake Pickett (2).
The U11s Blues notched up a great 6-1 win against Sandgate 6-1.
Finley Wilson (2), Mohamed Bah (2), Diogo Goncalves (1), William Dunster (1) all netted and man of the match was Jacob Herman.
There was a 2-2 draw for the U11s Reds against Windsor Galaxy as Thomas Hickey and Samuel Spasof netted.
Joshua Todd, Alfie Taylor, Jayden Blackwood, Gurveeyr Rattan and Amari Adams scored in a 5-2 win for the U12s over Townmead Youth. Joe Harker played well.
Zak Gee, Wan Maudz and Charlie Rogers earned a 3-3 draw for the U15s at Aylesbury. EASTCOTE shared the spoils with Ashford to remain top of Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Regional One this week.
It was first against second on Saturday as the top two faced off and Eastcote will be the happier of the two sides after holding the visitors to a thrilling 3-3 stalemate to stay at the summit.
Top scorer David Cooper put the home side ahead but Ashford hit back and went 2-1 in front before Gabriel Emery equalised the score.
