Pair ar­rested af­ter bot­tle was thrown at pedes­trian

TWO men in their 20s have been ar­rested on sus­pi­cion of caus­ing griev­ous bod­ily harm af­ter throw­ing a bot­tle out of a car at a passer by in Uxbridge town cen­tre.

Po­lice were called at around 6am on Fri­day Novem­ber 13, by a man who al­leged a bot­tle had been thrown at him by oc­cu­pants of a pass­ing car in Bel­mont Road, Uxbridge.

Of­fi­cers from Hilling­don po­lice traced the car and two men, aged 20 and 23, were ar­rested on sus­pi­cion of GBH and the pair re­mained in cus­tody through­out the day.

A Met­ro­pol­i­tan po­lice spokesper­son con­firmed the male pedes­trian was not in­jured.

Po­lice are con­tin­u­ing their enquiries into the cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing the in­ci­dent and it is be­ing in­ves­ti­gat­ing by Hilling­don of­fi­cers.
