Give cats a tasty Christmas present

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

CAN you help us feed the many hungry mouths we have in our care here at the Middlesex North West Branch of the RSPCA that need a good meal twice a day?

We are appealing for Christmas food boxes for the animals in our care who currently number over 120.

The boxes can be as big or as small as you like, plain or wrapped in gift paper.

What we desperately need is pouches of food such as Felix, which is what most of our kittens and cats are used to eating, so this saves on tummy upsets. Once filled, your box can be dropped off to any one of our eight local charity shops and our animals will be very grateful to receive these gifts.

Boxes will be accepted up to and including midday on Christmas Eve during our normal shop opening hours.

To find where our nearest shop is to you, please visit our website at www.rspca-middlesex. org.uk where you will find the location on the map along with the address and contact number.

Anyone wishing for a personalised thank you reply from the cats please include a note with your name, address and postcode or email address within the box.

A few of our current ‘guests’ who would benefit for your food parcels are Whiskers, who is about seven or eight months old, is a chatty fella who likes to get your attention with a big meow! He would make a good family cat as he has a lot of love to spread around.

He comes from a house with lots of other cats so could either be adopted along with his siblings Amber and Benji, or he would fit into your home if you already have another cat.

Little Sally, who is only about five months old, was reported to us as a stray.

Despite extensive efforts we were unable to trace Sally’s owner. She is a very friendly kitten who is full of energy and she would fit in well with a lively family.

Sally is going to be great fun, especially with all those Christmas decorations that are about to go up?! How can we deny her that pleasure, so let’s get her into a forever home by Christmas?

Sally would make a great best friend for any young person or child whose parents are looking for their first family cat.

If you would like to find out about adopting Whiskers or Sally or any of the other little characters we have waiting for a new home for life, then please call us on 020 8966 9688 or email us at info@rspcamiddlesex.org. uk. If you act today, who knows who you could have with you to share Christmas.
