Sym­pa­thy and sol­i­dar­ity in Paris

BORIS John­son has vis­ited the Bat­a­clan The­atre in Paris to pay his re­spects to the vic­tims of last month’s terror at­tacks.

The Lon­don Mayor and Uxbridge & South Ruislip MP laid a re­mem­brance rose on Thurs­day, De­cem­ber 3 at the con­cert hall, where 89 peo­ple lost their lives.

He also met with his French coun­ter­part Mayor Hi­dalgo to dis­cuss ways in which Lon­don can fur­ther sup­port Paris in the af­ter­math of the mul­ti­ple at­tacks on Novem­ber 13.

Boris said: “It’s very mov­ing to see the huge num­ber of trib­utes.

“I think it’s im­por­tant for Lon­don to show our sol­i­dar­ity and re­spect.”
