E-CIGARETTE users in Uxbridge can create their own flavours courtesy of a ‘blending boutique’ which has opened in the town.

Vaping company VIP launched its shop at intu Uxbridge in December and is offering customers a chance to mix their own flavours out of several choices on offer.

A team of ‘expert mixologists’ will help shoppers to create new e-liquid combinations, the company said.

Louise Stamper, commercial director at VIP, added: “The intu Uxbridge store is the first of its kind.

“We’re delighted to be helping the increasing number of people that are switching to vaping to explore the different options and flavours available to them.

“Our mixologists are fully trained to work with customers to create their perfect flavour – everything from the subtle and sophisticated, to the weird and wonderful – and we’re looking forward to seeing Uxbridge’s shoppers get creative.”

The store joins more than 200 VIP outlets launched in the UK since 2009 and will sell liquids, as well as alternative vapourisers to traditional cigarette-shaped devices for those who want to remove any perceived aspect of smoking.

The company recently gave away 10,000 vaping starter kits and has hailed findings by Public Health England that e-cigarettes are 95 per cent less harmful than tobacco.
