Please help keep an eye on ponies

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION - NAME WITHHELD Harefield

I READ with horror about the plight of the ponies in Springwell Lane, Harefield (Gazette December 16).

I have been to see them and quite frankly I was shocked. They have no fresh water, food or shelter.

Since speaking to the RSPCA the bigger pony, which I presume was the stallion, has been removed.

I only hope it was removed by the RSPCA. The remaining ponies look bloated or they are pregnant.

I urge all animal lovers to check on them periodically to ensure they are ok or to contact the RSPCA themselves.

When I can I am taking some food to them, but unfortunately I can’t afford to do it permanently.

Please raise your concerns to the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999,
