Tak­ing the fight to Pow­er­day again

THE plan­ning ap­pli­ca­tion by Pow­er­day for a 450,000 tonne in­dus­trial re­cy­cling plant on the old Coal Yard site in West Dray­ton is the lat­est step by the com­pany to build such a plant.

Res­i­dents have waged a five year cam­paign against an in­dus­trial re­cy­cling plant in the midst of res­i­den­tial ar­eas and within 50 me­tres of homes.

The Gazette has played an im­por­tant part in sup­port­ing res­i­dents in their cam­paign, and it is very much hoped that the Gazette will con­tinue to play a prom­i­nent part in get­ting the mes­sage across to MAKING a wel­come re­turn for 2016 is the cheeky squir­rel from reader Jan­ice Franklin’s gar­den in Bel­mont Close, Uxbridge.
